Funny but not my favorite Simon. ( )

I've had this audiobook for years and never listened to it. What a waste! I've also never seen the movie so I had no clue what to expect. I laughed so hard listening to this play that anybody around me would have thought I was crazy. It was just so funny. The full cast production is spot on and every character is played to perfection. If you want a couple of hours of good fun laughs, listen to this audiobook. ( )

This play is hilarious, with quick, sharp dialog that really zings between the characters. I really enjoyed reading it. Some people argue that the story is very, very dated. I sort of argee with this, though, there's nothing wrong with a character becoming a housewife after she marries. Afterall, housewife isn't exactly an extinct career. So I see nothing wrong with the character being a housewife after she marries a young, new lawyer. But this aspect put some people off. So, it depends I guess. Overall, I liked it a lot. ( )
