Savannah Scott is quickly becoming one of my favorite, go to authors! Her romcoms are hilarious, heartfelt, and full of sweet swoony moments that’ll melt your heart. Censorshipped is no exception! Absolutely loved this brother’s best friend, best friend’s little sister, secret relationship, flirty, fun romcom set in a the fictional small town of Bordeaux pronounced Bored Ox, Ohio.

Duke has been given one mission, protect his best friend’s little sister while he’s serving in the military. The only problem, he’s been secretly in love with Shannon for years. But, there’s absolutely nothing he can do about it, is there? He’s also thinking about switching careers from being a mechanic in his father’s shop to teaching and coaching baseball.

Shannon has been in love with her older brother’s best friend since 7th grade, maybe longer. Every man she’s dated pales in comparison. From his backwards baseball cap to the sweet way he coaches kids’ baseball, the man can do no wrong. But, he’s had a long string of girlfriends and seems to only think of her as a little sister. Plus, her overprotective brother would definitely not approve. When the attraction between them builds to a sizzling kiss, will they deny their feelings or have the courage to acknowledge what they’ve always wanted?

This book was so, so good, especially the audiobook version! The flirty dialogue, passionate kisses, and longing looks had me swooning, laughing, and smiling from ear to ear. The narrators did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life and are becoming favorites. They injected just the right amount of emotion and I love their voices. I devoured it. Honestly so hard to put down.

Shannon & Duke were so cute together. Their long held crushes just made it all the sweeter when they finally get together. There are some obstacles they have to overcome which added depth to their relationship. I enjoyed Duke’s grand gesture and Shannon’s willingness to give Duke the benefit of the doubt. Those kisses! Holy cow!
