Between this and 'Fangs', Sarah Andersen has put out some of my favorite humor comics over the last two years. I love the creature designs here, instantly recognizable to any cryptid fan like myself, but simultaneously cute and lovable. I also love the inclusion of both traditional cryptids as well as modern ones from the internet age, and I'm always hungry for more Flatwoods Monster content. Quick and breezy, 'Cryptid Club' is a perfect read for the holiday season. (

As an avid lover and prostheletizer of Cryptids, this book was the best! I follow this creator on all my social media and I love her! This book is so funny and cute, and I already had it pre-ordered so I was so excited to be approved for a copy. A must read for any lover of cryptozoology and the lifestyles of cryptids.

Mothman is hotter than the Jersey Devil. (

If you like cryptids - if you like four-panel comics - if you like Sarah's Scribbles - you'll love this. I was lucky enough to follow the Twitter account while they were being released, so I am slightly biased. I do feel that these comics fit better in the memey realms of the internet, and not so much into an anthology such as this. However, I love books like this for the archival value, and the comics are fantastic no matter how you read them. There are also some bonus comics and other tidbits if you did follow as they were released. (

Really cute idea, starring 15 different cryptids, two of which I hadn’t ever heard of (the glossary in the back of the book helped me out with that). The artwork was appealing, as was the idea that all these creatures hang out together. For my sense of humor, it was only mildly funny. I find Sarah’s Scribbles the funniest of Anderson’s work. (
