I may just be getting burned out on romances for now, but this struck me as really dumb. Ok, one funny bit - she's a diplomat's daughter and she's (to herself) a failure because she couldn't live that regimented life...uh, yeah. I'm a diplomat's daughter - regimented is not the word for me or my life. Admittedly my father liked hardship posts, not Ambassador to Great Britain...but still. Aside from that - wild attraction to the point where it wipes out everything else, including common sense (normal in romances, but this one's a bit over the top even for the genre). The villain was obvious to me from his first arrival, though I can see why he wasn't obvious in-story. The whole thing struck me as a random serving of tropes thrown together with a bare sketch of a plot holding them in place - I found Lacey silly and Tucker boring. The most exciting passage in the book was the description of the antique furniture - it sounded gorgeous, wish I could see it. Phooey - definitely not worth a re-read.
