Note: I received a digital review copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley. Unique to this Bible are the "I wonder?" questions at the end of each vignette. They encourage children ages 4 to 8 to ask important questions and consider the mystery of the Bible. Readers can internalize the message of the story and think about how it could apply to their lives. Illustrated beautifully by Alexandra Fusi, I Wonder offers young readers and the adults in their lives a fresh window into the Bible's familiar and unfamiliar narratives. Above all, Nellist hopes to instill a sense of wonder in children as they contemplate God's grand story of love and redemption. I love this book! I Wonder: Exploring God’s Grand Story is a beautiful, illustrated Bible (or Bible storybook) for children 4-8 years old. I love how it is arranged, with stories from the Old and New Testaments that are easy to read and understand. Each story is presented with a title, Scripture verses and text, focusing on things we might wonder about. For example, after the story of Abraham and Sarah, it states: I Wonder …how many stars were twinkling that night. …how Sarah felt when she found out she was going to be a mommy. …if God still does impossible things. The full-page illustrations make this book even more special. They are colorful, eye-catching, detailed, and illustrate the stories perfectly. The wondrous stories with accompanying pictures make this a powerful tool in helping young readers explore God’s Word and dwell on its meaning. And it includes a presentation page for gift-giving. This hardcover book is going on my grandson’s keeper shelf! Dɪsᴄʟᴏsᴜʀᴇ: I ʀᴇᴄᴇɪᴠᴇᴅ ᴀ ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟɪᴍᴇɴᴛᴀʀʏ ᴄᴏᴘʏ ᴏғ ᴛʜɪs ʙᴏᴏᴋ. Mʏ ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡ ᴡᴀs ɴᴏᴛ ɪɴғʟᴜᴇɴᴄᴇᴅ. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
