A cute and visually pleasing tale of the charms of office supplies. I thought that this book was hysterical. A toddler slips into her father's home office when he has stepped out, after all, she's just looking. And it won't hurt to take a piece of tape, or a second one. By the time she suddenly realizes that she's overstepped, the room looks like it was decorated for a big event by an office supply store. But Dad has a funny come-back that hopefully ends in a lesson learned and no hard feelings. Off-limits is a book about things that are off limits. A kid learns a lesson form going through office materials that are off-limits.In a twist of events the kid goes in her room to see her Dad was in her room was was moving around all her things. This is a great book to show younger students who are still learning to respect boundaries of other peoples things. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

"Dad's office is off-limits--which only makes it more intriguing to his curious young daughter. As soon as she sees an opening, she sneaks in to have a look around. After all, there's no harm in just looking, right? What she discovers is a magical wonderland of sticky tape, paper clips that make glorious strands, and a kaleidoscopic array of sticky notes. Who could possibly resist playing with those? In a joyful ode to office supplies, Helen Yoon leads a celebration of just-for-once breaking the rules--and offers a final, funny nod to adults who harbor a similar urge."-- Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
