Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum!
Giants steal your cow to eat him,
what do you do... run?

Beatrix and her cow, Gerda, were living their happy lives with no worries. Gerda produce the milk. Beatrix made the milk into cheese and they sold it at the market.
One day two rude giants came to visit. They were extremely rude, careless, selfish, and full of filth. The two giants stole the cow, Gerda, and ran away. Beatrix hopped on their shoe to follow the two giants in order to save Gerda from being eaten.
Beatrix teaches the giants manners, courtesy, cleanliness, and how to dress properly. First, she tells them the cow won't taste good if your house is a mess. Beatrix showed them what cleanliness is.
She then shows them how to use manners. The giants learned how to take tiny bites with a spoon. They also learned how to sip, not slurp their drinks.
At the end, the two rude giants have become proper, clean, and unselfish. They realize that while looking at their reflections in the mirror. At the end, by Beatrix teaching the giants manner, cleanliness, and a few positive traits, she saves Gerda in the process.
Beatrix brings in the entire town to the two giants' home. They throw a feast! Everyone brought food and they all until their bellies were full. The giants invite the little townspeople over ever week to have a party.

Beatrix teaches manners to the giants and children can learn what manners are and why we use them.
Courtesy, manners, and cleanliness are all important and as a reader, we understand how to do these things. ( )

Rude Giants, by Audrey Wood, is a hilarious story about two giants who enter the land of smaller humans. The two giants were very dirty, rude, and reckless when they first approached the small people's land. Beatrix and her cow, Gerda, were the very best of friends and shared every moment together. Beatrix commits her time to the giants by teaching them courtesy, manners, and cleanliness. The giants are hungry for her cow, Gerda, then entire book. Students will find this book comical and the pictures are very well illustrated. ( )

If for no other reason than that I liked the illustrations and the fun goofiness of the story of a pair of giants in dire need of some education on good behavior. You might not be as taken with the story as I was, but I'll continue to like it anyway. ( )

Giants move into a town and start to take over. They decide that they want to eat Gerda the Cow but her friend will simply not allow it. The young girl fixes up the giants and teaches the manners, cleanliness and how to live in harmony with people of the town. She becomes the best teacher of manners in all the town and no one gets eaten!

The book is about a girl who has a cow. Two rude giants move into her town. They are loud and messy. They want to eat her cow, but she convinces them that the cow will not taste good unless they are clean, have manners, and clean up the place. The story talks about how to be polite and have manners. It is a good story for children to learn about manners. Eventually, the giants have a baby and still are friends with the girl and the cow.
