A Dark Adult Suspense/Thriller Erotic Romance
Extremely well written. A fantastic suspense with plenty of mystery. The personalities and the plot keep you thoroughly engaged. You don't want to quit reading it. The complexities and layers in the story and the intrigue are so well executed, you feel like you are there. It's like reading in 3D!
I am really enjoying this series. There are 3 books in this one and they are not stand alone. To really get the full impact you need to start with the 'With Ties That Bind: Broken Bonds' serial first. It also has 3 books in it. They are all out of this world fantastic.

I've come to the realization that this author likes to torture her readers as much as she does her characters. This is a spinoff to the Broken Bonds serial which continues story lines and characters so its recommended you read those first.

This literally picks up where the previous trilogy ended but now the main characters are Detective Ethan Quinn and medical examiner Avery Johnson. Both Quinn and Avery went through hell in the previous books and Avery defiantly got the crappy end of the stick. She is trying to get over along with deal with things that happened to her and also deal with her conscience on some other things.

Its not long after she's back to work that the bodies start piling up from a new killer on the horizon. Our poor Detective Quinn is not only having to deal with his feelings both personally for Avery but also some guilt over not being able to prevent what happened to her and now he's thrown into another murder investigation that looks to have a new serial killer on the loose which looks like its going to put Avery in the cross hairs again.

As with the first series this is looking be another complex series that's going to have long reaching ramifications for all involved before we get to the final book. ( )
