Finally, the conclusion to this series that has been a long time coming towards a happily ever after for Bri and Markus, Lukus and Tiffany, and Now Hannah and Dylan. the time has finally come for Jake to get his due. This book is a bit grittier in the details of how mentally deranged Jake is. He most definitely is a villain.

I have been on the fence back and forth with this series. I struggled with certain aspects of the story and it took a while to get to the point where I could let my feelings not get in the way of the story. I got my wish in this book for a connection to be had. Even though the story was mainly told from the perspective of Hannah and Dylan this time, it was nice to care about the other characters and their stories, especially, as it was intertwined all together. This author is a pro at creating a story filled with details to give her audience a chance to figuratively live through the characters' experiences.

Even though I was invested in what was going to happen, it felt very rushed, especially, toward the end. For a series that has been building off of Jake and what he has done, I would have hoped that it was a little more fleshed out. Even though it did happen fast, I still liked that there was a resolution, even if it wasn't as detailed as I had hoped. Despite this six-book series not being my favorite thing that she has written, I still highly recommend this author. ( )
