Loved the art style. Really enjoyed this one.

parenting is hard, but i think at some points the parents should've explained things better or beforehand. like, when you go out to eat with someone and they pay for you, ask them what you can pick or pick something cheap to be polite. ( )

Bad Sister is a Children Graphic Novel Memoir that centers around the exploits of a young Charise and her younger brother Daniel. Charise suffers from prosopagnosia, a disorder which prevents her from recognizing faces. However, it’s not clear if this is a known disorder to her family. It is clear, however, that Charise knows how different she is compared to others.

Although this memoir is not intended to diagnose anything, it was a great read for illustrating the challenges that a child growing up with a disorder faced during that time. And it’s still very relevant for today. She wasn’t broken or a bad person. But her story shows how others in her shoes may be feeling. ( )
