Oh my wow! A fanfabulous start to a new series by Ed!

Rex and Slate (perfect names) are hot with drama, amazing smexy kinky scenes and some sweet times as well.

This has drama and all the feels! Really excited to see where book 2 takes us at Dom Nation!

E. Davies is one of my favorite authors, and this book helps justify my feelings even more. This is a bit out of the ordinary for Ed as he hasn't written much kink in past books, but let me tell you that he did a fantastic job with this one. This was the story of Slate and Rex. Slate is a 40-something guy who had a horribly abusive dom/ex in the past. Finally ready to embrace the lifestyle publically, he finds his ex at the first club he goes to. As he runs, he finds a cupcake shop across the street and finds Rex, a 20-something daddy. Rex is the kind of guy who has kept his heart far from any interactions in the past, but there is something that calls Rex to Slate. Rex wants to take care of Slate, and Slate desperately wants to be taken care of. They were so great together. I loved how they both had to break down a little to be put back together, and they were perfect for each other to do this. There was sweetness and love to go along with the heavier BDSM action, and it was a great combination. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next in this series for Seb. ( )
