Halloween is the time for ghost and goblin stories and this is the best short ghost story that I've read so far out of Torquere's collection. Micah Harrison fell in love with the old Delaney House and its beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains. There are a lot of work to be done on the old house but he was able to move in and do the work. The house was said to be haunted though Micah didn't put much stock in that until one night he was awakened by something caressing his hair. Micah finally met the ghost, Richard Delany, and the two feel a strong attraction. The problem is that it's tough having sex with a ghost. Ms McKay bends the rules and allows Richard to pleasure Micah on Halloween and to send Micah a very special gift. This sweet romance story borders on being a bittersweet as Richard and Micah cannot have a real relationship as lovers. It is also a happy story in that the two men get a lot from one another in the time that they do spend together. I liked the way that Richard's story unfolded and how Micah just accepted Richard for whom he is/was. The contrast between the modern speech and that of the 100 year dead Richard added some charm to the story which read both well and easily. I strongly recommend this excellent story to any paranormal lover. (
