Hunter was living in 1418 when he was cursed to live as a gargoyle for 90 years every century. The meanie warlock would free him for 10 years and then turn him into stone again for the next 90 years.
In 2018, he is living in Salem and coming to the end of his free decade. He has become friends with Ronan, Ten, and company, and is hoping to get his affairs in order before he leaves again. His awesome friends decide they should try to break the curse rather than just accept his fate.

Walker, the ER doc, and Hunter have stayed away from each other, but once they are thrown together and can't resist the other anymore, their passion and feelings skyrocket quickly. It isn't so much insta-love as it is that they both knew there was something about the other and didn't think it could work so they avoided it. Then they realized that it was better to take advantage of the time they had together. I loved their whirlwind romance. Hunter was a great character that made me feel so much for him. It broke my heart to see him prepare for a possibility of an end of him and Walker, and I hated the sadness he had to endure for 600 years.

Once again, a fabulous book by Pandora Pine. I love this universe she has created.
