Ok, this was EXCELLENT. I can't decide who was my favourite, Roberto "ADVENTURE!" da Costa, Illyana "fuck me or fight me" "chaos bisexual" Rasputin, or Rahne "lick it lick it lick it" Sinclair, or any/all of the others who I don't have a snappy summary for... but everyone was delightful, the story was wonderful, and I can't wait for the further adventures of this crew. ( )

Whilst it was really nice to see Cannonball, Sunspot, Mirage, Wolfsbane, Cypher, Karma and Magik back together, supported by Chamber and Mondo. It sometimes seemed a bit forced. The others were there to be page fillers and it was all about Sunspot and his ego and his little comments to the audience.

The New Mutants have always worked best as an ensemble piece with everyone getting equal footing and that is hopefully what will happen after the end of this particular story. And I'm waiting for Magma to be back as well.

Anyway, the story was a bit of fun and it was good to see not only the Starjammers back in action but also the Imperial Guard in their their glory.

I'm glad The New Mutants are back but now want to see them all step up and join in the story line. ( )
