I purchased this book based on the cover and author alone. I had no idea what it was even about. I'd assumed it was time travel romance. How wrong was I? I wasn't expecting the paranormal aspect but it was a pleasant surprise.

Interesting storyline, characters, and worldbuilding made this an unusual but fun romance. I'm looking forward to where this author intends to take this next. ( )

This was fun! The pacing was wonky and it was definitely insta-love/fated mates, but I kind of didn’t care? Obviously I cared enough to round down from a 3.5 to a 3, but Goodreads says a 3 means “I liked it,” so there ya go. ( )
