I really did enjoy this though, and the comedy (sorta) of manners in mother and daughter trying to figure each other out. Rico's alright too, but I do wish we could've gotten a little bit more of his backstory. (  ) Daumari | Dec 28, 2023 | Phew. PPaOF was one of my favorite reads of last year although it had a bit more angst than I usually found in romcoms. This takes that wayyy up a notch. So spoiler this book contains a lot of triggering content and was not the haha book I would have liked (at this moment in time). However, its a really well written book and I already seen it being one of my most memorable reads this year too.
