Emilie Catesby wants to paint but there's a problem, her mother wants her to leave aside her paints and marry. Lord Marcus is somewhat jaded and somewhat colourblind but there are definitely sparks. Emilie has decided that the only way to get her mother off her back is to either ruin her or to marry, she hopes that Lord Marcus' brother will oblige but Lord Marcus has other ideas.

It was a fun read with two good characters and I was happy to see that she was still doing art at the end. (
