It is an over-sized book, measuring 10.5 x 0.6 x 12.6 inches. It has a little pocket on the inside cover which holds a magnifying glass. Children can use the magnifying glass to examine and find things in the informative pictures. This book is informative. It tells about the different styles of castles and of the feudal system and the people of the town. It tells about daily life in the castle, including meals, entertainment, religion, magic, and medicine of the time. This book tells children about knights and kings and even about Joan of Arc. Each page has a few paragraphs and a list of things to find in the detailed pictures. The illustrations are colorful and well-drawn and appealing. This is a very entertaining and informative book! I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
"Meet history’s most heroic knights as you travel back in time to follow Sir Gallahad into the court of King Arthur, Joan of Arc into battle, and Richard the Lionheart on his last crusade. Use the magnifying glass to explore cutaway castles, epic medieval battlefields, and impressive royal tournaments, then learn about chivalry, armor, and jousting." -- Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
