Unfortunately, one is hard pressed to find actual interaction with the biblical text in her book. Where found, her attempted interactions with the biblical text are egalitarian interpretations. When studied, she continually misquotes her sources, misrepresents her opponents, and misrepresents history. Besides men-only ordination, there is almost nothing there that is not congruent with egalitarianism at all.
The book promotes social egalitarianism while having a minimalistic ecclesial complementarianism. It would be a better book if it was more honest about its own position, more honest about citing and representing opponents, and more honest about actual interactions of the biblical text. An open egalitarian book would be much better than this deceitful book. ( )
