This book is part of my collection that really focuses in on Biblical Commentary more than anything else (including some well known authors in the theological world). All of these books haven't been read cover to cover, but I've spent a lot of time with them and they've been helpful in guiding me through difficult passages (or if I desire to dig deeper). ( ) Ryrie has the rare combination of spiritual depth, Biblical scholarship and writing skills. He brings all of these gifts into focus in the writing of this book on a balanced Christian life. The book is divided into three parts 1) Some Biblical Concepts with questions such as What is Man? and What is Spirituality? 2) Some Personal Responsibilities with emphasis on sanctification and 3) Some Practical Problems such as The Wiles of the Devil and Temptation. Thorny issues such as speaking in tongues and legalism are treated in a respectful and reasoned manner. An excellent resource for those seeking a Biblical based, scholarly yet highly readable explanation of what constitutes the balanced Christian life. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
