An allegory for our current times. Facts (represented by little bug-eyed circles) are being hidden by the Authorities (represented by looming lower bodies and red hands) who create lies to take over the world. An intrepid band of fact-finders sets out to dig up the facts. "...for those with minds to think and a need to know the truth, the facts could not be denied. And that's a fact." A good conversation-generating title to share with elementary students. ( )

The sad little fact - "a fact is a fact" - is ignored, then locked in a box with other facts ("2+2=4") and buried underground, while lies proliferate aboveground.

Perhaps more for grown-ups than for kids; or perhaps good for use in elementary school as a way to talk about information literacy, media literacy, and "fake news."

An admirable attempt to explain the fake news B.S. to little kids. A little too weird for this adult and possibly a little too bleak and dystopian for children. ( )
