This Pocket Bio, literally holds true to its name. It is very informational for a small book. It tells the short story of Anne Frank and gives you the basic knowledge of what you need to know. Later in the book it has facts, and little things you may not have known before about Anne Frank. I can say I learned that her sister Margot also wrote a diary. This book tells the the historic timeline of Anne’s Life. ( )

I loved this little small book of Anne Frank's life. It was such a small book that is great for 2nd to 6th trades because it was such a simple way of explaining hers story. The book has all facts about her life, the one that shocked me was that she wasn't killed after being discovered from hiding. In the movies, it always ended at that point so that was a huge shocker. This is an important story from the history of Hitler's reign so it shows what some families went through. ( )

Anne Frank pocket bio points out the important highlights of Anne Frank's life and story. It talks about the little German girl who has to hide out in an annex in the Netherlands with her family to escape nazi persecution. During this trying time, she writes about it in her diary and after her death of an illness, her diary is found and later published into a book. Although small, I believe this book pointed out some very important facts that help you understand Anne Frank in a nutshell. One thing that I learned from this book was that the family was forced into hiding after Margot got a letter to report to a labor camp. I also thought she was killed when they were captured so her dying of disease was a discovery for me. Anne Frank's story is an interesting one for kids to know to help them understand the life of a child during the terrible reign of Adolph Hitler. I enjoyed the mini biography. ( )
