Unpublished draft of a screenplay for the 1969 film "The Magic Christian," written by future members of Monty Python, John Cleese and Graham Chapman. This third draft is based on the first draft by Terry Southern (author of the original novel). Much of this draft was not used in the filmed screenplay, but several scenes did make it to the final film, including the (much rewritten) scene with John Cleese playing a Sotheby's staff member, a scene including Graham Chapman in a nonspeaking rolae as a member of the Oxford rowing team, and Spike Milligan as a traffic warden.
