When I first met Colby in The Blue Line Duet, I fell hard. Like my heart hurt. He made me feel all the emotions. ALL. OF. THEM. I don't normally get outwardly emotionally. I am the girl that learned a long time ago to keep my emotions in check. I have perfected RBF. Yet, this beautiful man and his story tore at my heartstrings. I am pretty sure I rivaled the Grinch with how much my heart grew. So, to know that he was going to get his story told. I was ecstatic. I knew that this amazing author would give him the story that was worthy of him. What I didn't know was that it would break my heart in other ways. In this case Ryan. She was another character from the original duet that piqued my interest. I had no idea that her story would have this much impact.

Without giving away the story, let me just tell you to be prepared for your heartstrings to hurt again. There is so much more to this girl than what meets the eye. This story ended on a cliffhanger and it is a whopper and serious blow to your heart. This author is a dang wizard at putting her reader through the ringer. Yet, I know that in the next book she will make it all better. I just have to trust her! ( )

Whether you laugh, cry or scream, you will never forget a Meghan Quinn novel. She looks at life from ever angle and finds the bright side in the darkest moments. The Left Side of Perfect is the beginning. Flying blind has never been such a treat. I love kooky characters like Ryan. She was an ice breaker for the drama that lies ahead. Colby needed his feathers ruffled a bit. A great starter to the main course. ( )
