Wary is her love is the 3rd book in Alison's The School of Necessary Magic series. I've noticed a pattern with the titles, all of them have is her. This one, I could get due to Alison trying to find a new family, but it's not really touched upon.

The humorous aspects of these books may be criticised as cheesy but I for one can occasionally crack a smile or chuckle at the scene. These books are short with humour, they're not amazing literature but they pass time and can be entertaining. They're short so you can binge read the series.

The book focuses on more fun than danger, Izzie tries out for the school play, Alison talks about singing and Luke and Ethan end up going for Louper. Virtual Reality amazes me and I really want a headset so of course, I thought this would be good. Louper just takes up so many pages and for a book less than 300 pages, it's wasting time.

The dodgeball game, while some could call it a waste of time, was fun to read about and also showed a new talent of Izzie's when she breaks the school record. Louper however does not push forward any character development.

I have to give the book points for the cover which is so pretty, I believe it's Alison on the cover.
Overall, it was a mediocre book.
