Nice subtle thriller I am a fan and that has influenced my rating, at least by half a star! This is another action thriller by the master - his very first one, but published a lot later - that guarantees a level of entertainment that never makes one regret picking it up. The story is not very complicated, but the execution is engaging, and the ending is quite satisfactory. The locales where the story takes place are exotic - the sea and the islands of the South Pacific. There is also some interesting information about oceanology and the formation and occurrence of undersea nodules containing metal ores. There is a bit of suspense, romance, revenge, action and adventure in this novel, making it an enjoyable read, though not in the league of Bagley's best ones. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
