A very impressive book, about three young children, living in an orphanage, who think they are orphans. A book about the system of foster care & running orphanages, but also about parents who leave their children in the care of others.
After many years Yvonne and her brothers find out, they have living parents. Will they ever have a more or less normal relationship with them? Or is it too late for all involved? In that respect, the book has an open ending, so people can make up their own wished ending for this book. I liked it :-) ( )
