Enjoyable story about kids working in a quirky store that re-sells the contents of lost luggage while working out their own emotional baggage. ( ) I would give this book 3.5 stars for reivew* I really enjoyed the setting and the characters in this book. It was a super fast summer themed read. It was fast pace read that dealt with harder topics but was in such a easy to digest way. I thought this book tackled so many current issues in such a "slice of life" way that was so well done. I thought all the main characters brought such a fun POV to the novel and I really enjoyed them all! I would de read more by this author in the future. The setting and the store was charming framework for the story! I would give this book 3.5 stars for reivew* I really enjoyed the setting and the characters in this book. Sweat, honest, a little awkward, like being young. Like life. I couldn't put this book down. Now I am dying for a sequel, a movie about, a tv series. Anything. Just give me more of these characters and this world. In Doll’s debut YA novel, there’s a lot of baggage packed into the story, and I don’t mean just that of unclaimed luggage It’s the story of three teenagers in Alabama who work together unpacking unclaimed suitcases and selling the merchandise in a store. The teens seem so mature. I am sure I wasn’t that mature when I was that age. Evangelical bigots, interracial hatred, alcoholism and divorce are all problems packed into this well-written and believable story. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
