Empathy is a trait that has been lacking up until now within the Rising Storm series. So many people have been quick to judge Ginny without knowing all the facts. Most have turned a blind eye to Joanne Alavarez's years of abuse when all the signs were there. Don't get me wrong, there have been a few like Dillion and Tucker who have reached out to Joanne offering her a job, getting her breathing room from Hector, etc. Or Tate having a meal with Ginny in a restaurant. Logan opening his heart to the possibility of love, but Blinding Rain seemed a lot less about judging and more about looking after those in need. Maybe Storm is finally maturing. ( )

**spoiler alert**Tate must finally face that Tucker is the better man for Hannah and that he could never make her happy. Fortunately, Mary Louise is right there to help him pick up the pieces. Ginny is still trying to find a way back to Logan and a way to gain Britanny's forgiveness. But it is Britanny who finally steps up to support her best friend once again.

There were a couple major reconciliations that have begun, which I think is great. I LOVED the chemistry between Tate and a certain someone… ooh yeah.. that first kiss was sweet! Now if only two more things fall into place I will be super stoked! I am on to book 8 with high hopes!!!
