One reason I liked this book was for the way that it was written. The silly stories in this book along with the poems made this book really enjoyable to read. It was very engaging and everything flowed really well together. I think that this is also a great book to teach children about poetry due to the fun way that it was written. Another reason I liked this book was for the illustrations. The illustrations in this book were fantastic. They brought every single short story or poem to life. I honestly do not think that the book would have been the same without the illustrations. Overall, I think that the message of this book is to conquer your fears. ( ) This book is appropriate for many grade levels. The Scared Silly book is composed of poems, riddles, and more that have to do with halloween and creepy, crawly, scary things. The different stories all have descriptive picture that goes with the words. Every poem and riddle is very descriptive, teachers can use this to show students how to take an object or thought and make a poem out of it. This book could also be used to ask thinking question based on the pictures. Asking the students what is going on in the scene will create lots of thought and creativity. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
