A fun book about friendship and mix ups, kids should like the action. The cats are exactly the same but mirror-imaged, and they get into each other's houses to visit at the same time and get trapped with the wrong families. They end up bringing two families together in a heartwarming finish. Kids will laugh at the mix up, it's well-paced and lively, and the illustrations paint an interesting picture of city life. I'd recommend for people reading to children, young readers, and readers who want a cute family story. Gemma and her cat Ralph and Dilla and his cat Niblet live in the same building...but only the cats (who are nearly identical) know this. When they try to visit each other on the same day, they end up switching places. Gemma and Dilla realize right away that something is fishy ("Not Niblet!" "Fake Ralph!"), though Gemma's dad and Dilla's mom tease them gently. When Gemma and Dilla each go in search of their missing cats, they bump into each other - literally - and solve the mystery. A happy ending with all four humans and both cats socializing over dinner. Ohora's characteristic art features thick black outlines and bold, four-color illustration. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

The cats were cute, I enjoyed the illustration, but wasn’t just super impressed with the story. ( )
