This book was a very inspirational read. It really breaks down the main parts of life that can be affected by a disability, but also includes how Shane overcomes those difficulties. ( )

He uses clear explanations that kids will understand and injects humor into his answers, like saying he doesn't let his brother help him dress because he'd pick funny clothes. Recommended for PK-2.

Frank, beautifully photographed, mini autobiography about everyday life with a degenerative disorder. Shane is funny, direct and kind and his book is incredibly well done. ( )
