This was read during my preschool class I am student teaching in, and acting out parts of the book made it fun to be able to introduce to the students.

I read this book to preschoolers it was fun to act out some of the part in the book like throwing leaves in the air and dancing.

This book teaches the differences between leaves from different types of trees. This is good for young children to read about when learning about the autumn season or about types of trees. I think that children would be interested in this due to the rhyming, poetic style of the story. It may even become like a song they can learn in order to remember the leaves. ( )

I thought this story was a lot of fun. It is a great book for fall, and teaching about leaves. I loved the easy storyline about the kids playing in the leaves and the pictures were pretty too. ( )
