A nasty, selfish woman threatens to take away Andi's son. Because of a huge trust fund! That was my reaction when reading this remarkable contemporary romance. We can't have bad things happen in a romance! But of course, as in real life, unexpected complications occur. The best thing about romance fiction? You know the happy ever after will be strong and promising. And it's so worth it here. I admit, once or twice I was impatient with Andi, the heroine. She's turning him down again? Such agony and heartbreak for the hero! But oh, after a few tears, and craziness this book became the "ahhh, sigh" romance moment. I can't wait for the next one! I Love this author's delivery, and emotional enheartening. The below is from the six year old Christian - he has an idea. Jag is his dog. Excerpt: “I have an idea!” They threw a glance at each other, both aware that she’d just asked Liam for an idea, but he had a feeling Christian’s wasn’t going to help them. “What is it?” she asked. “You two should get married!” They both stared in stunned, shocked silence. “Then Jag would never leave!” He beamed at them, throwing up two hands like it was so obvious, how did these two clueless adults not see that? “Married.” Andi croaked the word and turned to Liam, her color high. “Imagine that.” Liam had. Every damn day since he met her. “I think that’s the best idea I’ve heard in a long time,” he said. “Yay!” Christian made a wobbly little turn and smacked right into Jag, giving him a huge hug. “It was Jag’s idea, really.
