In the beginning, I thought that Parker was going to just be the "mistress"; yet she came through to find the truth about Indie. Yet, don't count YaYa out. She too was not going to go down without a fight. To be honest, it took about several chapters in before I came around to the characters and this story. While, I did say that this book could not read as a stand alone, I do feel that it would be much more appreciated if you read the books in order. (
