The only character I liked out of Eye Candy, was Davis, but he wasn't enough for me to fall in love with this book. The premise of friends to lovers is a common theme in romance, but for me, there was nothing fresh that gripped me. With all that being said, I give Eye Candy 2 stars. (  ) Cara_Ross | Dec 2, 2018 | Vince Carson is Jacquelyn's best friend and her co-VP, he's also is single and divorced and his sex life is not much better, however his sights are firmly set on Jacquelyn which is unfortunate as an off-limits zone is in place. Jacquelyn's had her eye on guy who lives in her building, he jogs every day and Jacquelyn has face pressed to the glass, watching him, same time every day. He's really "hot" and it's only innocent viewing, but Vince suggest she get out there and ask him out, they both should really, it's time. Vince though is hoping Jacquelyn will need his big shoulders to cry on. He was right and Vince gets a lot more. A great story. It was funny and sexy, I loved the bantering and the dialogue. The development of the story was clever and witty, and the characters interesting and snappy. I enjoyed it very much.
