"It's a perfect day for yoga, and Bunny is practicing his poses and wishes his friends would do yoga with him! But Lizard is too tired, Fox is in a rush, and Bird has the hiccups. Will Bunny ever be able to get his friends to slow down and realize that yoga just might be the solution to their problems? Yoga Bunny helps readers relax and unwind as they learn beginning yoga poses, from downward dog to tree pose. so underdeveloped that it seems self-published. the illustration style looks crude, like something that a 15-year-old anime fan might sketch. the story doesn't make a lot of sense, and it uses too many words without actually describing anything. ( )

Bunny declares it "a perfect morning to do yoga," but the friends who wander by - a lizard, a fox, and a bird - don't seem to agree. TWo mice are intrigued, however, and eventually the whole gang joins in. Back matter includes "some facts about yoga," and the endpapers show Bunny in many labeled poses. ( )

Yoga Bunny is about a bunny who just wants to do yoga with some of his friends, but all of them are in a hurry to get somewhere else. They all make up excuses as to why they cannot stay and do yoga with Bunny. Bunny becomes sad because none of his friends want to do yoga with him, until two mice see what Bunny is up to. They decide whatever Bunny is doing is important and start doing yoga with him. Then, all his other friends come join him in yoga. Bunny is happy his friends came to be with him after all. The other animals now realize this is where they belonged the whole time--with Bunny.
I think this book is really cute for several reasons. First, it teaches children that it's important to slow down every once and a while and relax. Secondly, it shows children how important it is to have a friend to do activities with. Friends are important aspects of life, and doing fun things with them make life even better.

Yoga bunny is a wonderful tale of a bunny who enjoys doing yoga but would like some friends to join him. Throughout the story he meets lizard, bird, a couple of mice and a fox. They are all too busy to join Bunny for yoga. One by one each of them begins to notice Bunny doing yoga and they want to join. By the end of the story Bunny has made all these new friends and taught them how yoga can help them slow down and relax. I would reccomend this story to children of all ages as it teaches a wonderful lesson about friendship. ( )

I liked this book for three main reasons. First, I liked how throughout the story it teaches the reader multiple various kinds of yoga moves that they could incorporate into their daily routine. For example, they teach the reader many different yoga moves, such as Superhero Pose, Prayer Twist, downward dog, Chair Pose, Tree Pose, Upper Pushup, Lower Pushup, along with many more. Second, I liked how the yoga vocabulary that they talk about throughout the story, the author makes standout by making the word print in a variety of distinct colors. For example, when the reader talks about the yoga position forward fold, downward dog, tree pose the author uses red font. Third, I liked how the illustrations looked like they were made through a variety of watercolor paints, which makes the illustrations have an allusion of different shades of multiple spring colors. The big idea of the story is to never let anyone get you down, just take a deep breath and relax. ( )
