Even though he's horrible to her at first Bryce learns to unclench long enough to appreciate all that Dakota has to offer albeit temporarily. In all honesty, Bryce is a real douche! But he's reformable as you will see as the story progresses so I'll let him off the hook.

By the way, is it just me or is it a coincidence that all the male leads in this series are not chocolate lovers? How sad for them.
