Although unlearning prejudices is a timely theme in YA, Forest handles this issue clumsily." Literature is at its most powerful when it confronts difficult issues, and this book certainly succeeded in starting a discussion. Besides all the obvious problems about this book - which I won't get into now - it was just NOT good.
Might go more in depth on my thoughts later. (
