Oh boy, was she stupid, running from a job, going to someone she barely knew and hadn't researched. Yes I know she was in a boarding school and sheltered but rumour would give her a good idea about where she was going and why did she hang around when she realised that it was all going pear shaped. WIlliam had so many chips on his shoulders I'm surprised he wasn't regularly mobbed by seagulls. His mother died when he was an early teen and his father collapsed into the bottle, now his father has noticed that things are out of his control and he's trying to make his son's life miserable by being a miserable git. William isn't much better but at least he tries occasionally.

Parts of it were good and the author shows promise but overall the angst went on for too long and the resolution felt rushed. ( )
