After reading Summer at Skylark Farm, I have a new author on my to-read list. The small village/farm setting is presented perfectly. The descriptions of the farmhouse makes you feel as if you were there. I love how well the author described Amber, her passions, her eagerness to fit in, her worry over Jake and his ex-girlfriend, Holly. This helped me to form a connection to her. I would have liked to have seen more of a back story for her and Annie and a few scenes with a insight into Jake's emotions, but overall I was very pleased with the depth of the characters. I look forward to finding a copy of her first book and putting her future books on my list to watch for. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
