Jagger Caldwell is no one's hero. With a reputation for busting heads and breaking hearts on the underground MMA circuit, he lives for easy cash and easier women. But when he stumbles upon an all-too-familiar scene, painful memories awaken Jagger's sensitive side and compel him to act. As a kid, he stood by helplessly as his old man beat his mom. Now, Jagger won't let seventeen-year-old Tatiana Rand suffer the same fate. Nothing matters except saving her. Tatiana is a prisoner in her own home, at the mercy of her violent father-until an unlikely savior bursts through her door and into her life. Six-feet-plus of tattooed muscle and raw power, Jagger is no prince charming, but Tatiana stopped believing in fairy tales long ago. Despite their differences in age and, well, everything else, the sexy bad boy sparks a fire that Tatiana never knew she had-and desires that only Jagger can quench. Contains mature themes.… (altro)

Jagger, the baby of the Caldwell brothers, is used to fighting, getting hauled into the police station, and banging all the girls he wants. When he has enough of listening to his neighbor beat on his girl, he intervenes, only to find its the man's daughter, 17 year old Tatiana. He does everything he can to forget her, to focus on his underground MMA fights, spend time with his brothers, but he wants to save her and he's willing to risk it all for her.

Jagger started out with a bang, making it impossible for me to put the book down; I wanted to know the final outcome so badly. There's a lot going on in Jagger, between seeing the older brother's relationships play out, the dynamics with the Caldwell father, MMA fighting, Jagger's continuous run in with the law, and his obsession with caring for little Tatiana. The authors manage to take everything that's going on and make it a cohesive story, it never felt like too much. The pacing was excellent and I really liked both of the main characters. While I've liked the previous brothers, and their respective novels, Jagger felt more relatable, his story more real for me. I liked the drive that Tatiana had to be independent, to finally find her way. I I did find myself enjoying reading more about Jagger's life away from Tatiana, especially his MMA fighting and his interactions with his brothers.

I struggled with my rating for one reason and one reason only, the relationship between Jagger and Tatiana, particularly with her age and situation, was really hard to read comfortably. Tatiana was very sexual, almost to the point of being worrisome, and Jagger, though he tried, seriously could not get enough of the girl he called "little one." I felt like the authors tried to show the push and pull between the two main characters, especially when Tatiana was 17, but it worked out so easily and their relationship moved far quicker than I expected. The age difference wasn't a problem for me, but more how Jagger did treat Tatiana as a little girl, as did others. I cringed, especially due to the use of "good touch" keeping me in the mindset of younger Tatiana. I would have liked the relationship to progress slower, but I still enjoyed them together.

Jagger was a successful final installment of the Caldwell brothers series and he's probably my favorite of the three. It was really nice to see all of the brother and how their stories worked out. While Jagger is a darker read of the three books, I enjoyed it and would recommend it. ( )

So I am super excited and a litter sad, to finally be reading Jagger, I'm excited because I finally want to hear Jagger's story, to find out all what all those mysterious comments he has been making all the way through both Hendricks and Morrison's books, so let's get started.

Jagger watched his mother being abused at the hands of his father, so he will not stand by and allow a young women to be beaten, even if that means he gets arrested. But when he is arrested and Tatiana refuses to defend him, you would think he would walk away and take the restraining order seriously…but he doesn't and he continues to take care of her, by leaving her shoes and pretty things; just to make her smile.

Tatiana is at the mercy of her violent father; with threats hanging over her head and only a few days away from her 18th birthday, Tatiana couldn't take it any more, so she runs away.

Now Jagger just needs to keep Tatiana safe, not only from the monster that is her father: from his enemies that want retribution but also from his desire from her. But then things goes from bad to worse when Jagger and Tatiana are in the spotlight for murder!

I thought I loved Hendrix, then Morrison! But it was clear after reading this book that Jagger is clearly my favorite Caldwell! He truly is a hero and maybe a little less cocky than his older brothers. I love the way that Jagger protects Tatiana and gives her things just so she knows she is cared for! I honestly love all of the Caldwell's men and women. I also have a little soft spot for Cobra! And I don't know why because clearly the man has issues! And look at me talking like these characters are real people! I think I may have the issue here.

This book is book is literally the cherry on the top of this series, with an amazing plot and characters that don't pretend to be more than they are not. The writing is superb and was truly writing by a dream team because you can honestly not tell that two amazing authors wrote this!

I give Jagger a very well deserved 5 stars!

This is a great series, and I just loved Jagger.
Tatiana Rand is a young woman who lives in fear, she has been mentally abused and beaten by her father for practically all of her 17 years and sees no escape from her hell until one time she is rescued by a knight in shining armour, so it seems to Tatiana. But can she fully embrace the "Good touch" and leave the "Bad touch" far behind?
Jagger can not walk away from the screams, he's nobody's hero but he's lived in a house that was full of hurt and "Bad touch", and Jagger has to show Tatiana a life with joy and "Good Touch".
This tale was a very touching and emotional story. It was at times heart wrenching as Tatiana endured horrific treatment, I have to admit I shed a tear or two, and joyful as she found her way.
I highly recommend this book and series, I can't praise them enough! 5/5 ( )
