Attualmente non vi sono conversazioni su questo libro. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There's some awesome color photography in this book but I still lust after actual plate printing, rather than this computer-direct-to-printer stuff currently dominating the market. The images are slightly off, a tiny bit grainy and over-exposed in color saturation in my opinion in most of today's books. This volume suffers only slightly and is better than most, it also has a sewn binding and a nice heavy dust jacket covering the pictorial covers - kudos to CarTech for making something a bit better than what you'd fine at book swaps. Coffee table style...place this book anywhere where someone can pick up and they will. You don't even have to be a car lover to appreciate a book like this. I, however, am a part of a car loving family and so this book was warmly welcomed. 3 sons and a husband that is a fanatic...this book was looked over many times and enjoyed each and every time. The content..substantial even at 192 pages. CarTech books always give such detail and information and beautiful photos on each and every book. This one is no exception. Definitive is right. Scott E. Ross puts out exactly what CarTech is known for. Great car books. On his own...he created something worthy of a read. I highly recommend this book and I highly recommend taking a look through the catalog of all CarTech books as well as anything that Scott E. Ross puts out. Thanks again to the wonderful peeps of LibraryThing and to CarTech for my free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review to which I gladly and voluntarily gave. ![]() Car Tech produces the best car books. ![]() nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
The 1970-974 Plymouth Barracudas and Dodge Challengers are compact, lightweight, and extremely powerful pony cars; some are considered to be the greatest Mopar muscle cars of the era. The platform, known as the E-Body for this generation, was Chrysler's response to the competition from the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro. Today, the E-Body Barracudas and Challengers are some of the most valuable and popular muscle cars ever built. In The Definitive Barracuda & Challenger Guide: 1970-1974, seasoned journalist Scott Ross has unearthed new information from the key personnel involved in designing, engineering, and building these brash muscle cars. Ross provides comprehensive engine, transmission, and interior options as well as essential trim package and color code information. You learn the bottom line on original equipment packages and options. Ross covers Special Edition, R/T, Gran Coupe, and Rapid Transit System packages. And of course, the preeminent models in the lineup, Hemi 'Cuda, Challenger 440 six pack, AAR 'Cuda, and Challenger TA are covered in extensive detail. The large option list (and which options were available on which cars) is covered in great detail, which will greatly assist you with authentication. Barracudas and Challengers are some of the most powerful and valuable Mopar muscle cars ever built. If you have been searching for the comprehensive story and vital option information for these classic Mopar muscle cars, you don't need to look any further.
