Pete The Cat Is good at math, but his friend is not. This book helps his classmate (and young readers) how counting can be fun and easy. I recommend this book and the whole Pete The Cat series. ( )

This is such a great children's book. There are a lot of Pete the Cat books that can really teach some valuable lessons to children! This book is a great math book that teaches that everyone isn't going to be amazing at every subject but going to sessions one-on-one with teachers can really be beneficial. ( )

Fans of that cool cat Pete will undoubtedly enjoy Pete the Cat's Got Class, which includes twelve flash-cards, a fold-out poster, and a sheet of stickers. I appreciated the inclusion of the more instructional material here, and imagine that this title could provide an entertaining entry into basic arithmetic for very young children. That said, the story felt a little flat to me. I've been reading a few of these 'extra' Pete the Cat books recently, and I have to say that they just aren't as fun as the first few picture-books, written by songwriter Eric Litwin. They feel a little too commercial and mass-market, as if they're being churned out. Still, tastes vary, and as mentioned above, determined fans of the blue cat and his laid-back ways might still want to give this one a look. ( )

This book is about a cat named Pete who helps his friend Tom with his struggles in his math class. This is a good book because it engages the reader through using cats and their struggles doing math problems.
