"The Hundred Dresses" by Eleanor Estes is a wonderful book that teaches us about being kind to others and standing up for what's right. It tells the story of a girl who is teased because of the dresses she says she has, but doesn't. Through this story, we learn about how important it is to treat everyone with respect and to speak up when we see someone being treated unfairly. Teachers can use this book to start discussions about bullying and empathy, and to help students learn how to be good friends to each other. ( )

A children’s story about the effects of bullying and staying silent when you know you should defend the person who is getting bullied. This is a very good book and it teaches a very important lesson every child should learn. ( )

Simple story of regret and forgiveness in a little school drama. Good for 6-11 year olds and addresses how bullying may not feel like bullying, but how to try to raise above the meanness. ( )
