Sometimes two wrongs can make a right... Bad boy wrangler Archer Kane lives fast and loose. Words like responsibility and commitment send him running in the opposite direction. Until a wild Vegas weekend puts him on a collision course with Eden Bankcroft-Kew, a New York heiress running away from her blackmailing fiancé...the morning of her wedding. Eden has never understood the big attraction to cowboys. Give her a guy in a tailored suit any day of the week. But now all she can think about is Mr. Rugged Handsome, six-feet of sinfully sexy country charm with a pair of green eyes that keeps her tossing and turning. Archer might be the wrong guy for a woman like her, but she's not right in thinking he'll walk away without fighting for her heart. And maybe, just maybe, two wrongs can make a right.… (altro)

Another sweet love story, Archer has been a manwhore but is finally tired of that life. Eden is an heiress who finds out on her wedding day it's all a scam to get her money. They meet in Vegas at a diner. Archer's in pursuit trying to prove she's the only woman for him and she's trying to fight insecurities and find herself.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review. This does not influence my opinion in any shape or form.

I’ve been in this reading funk where I’m just not in the mood to read or if I start reading I can put the book down and go about my business. But Right Wrong Guy definitely was my exception. It’s that perfect light contemporary romance that can get you out of any reading funk you maybe in. AND DID I MENTION A HOT COWBOY? No, well there you go. What better reason to read Right Wrong Guy?

Right Wrong Guy is the second book in the Bridgewater Series by Lia Riley and can be read as a standalone. But honestly you can kind of read Right Wrong Guy first then Last First Kiss because events overlap and you get the bigger picture.

It is written in third person. It is rare these days that I read third person but I really enjoyed Lia’s approach. I personally would have loved to have been inside both Archer’s and Eden’s mind but I was really happy with what I got.

Eden at times was hard to connect with. She often made it difficult for me to like her simply because she was a bit weak and that really annoyed me. I wanted her to be as fierce as she was trying to be but sometimes that was lacking. She really pulled off the pamper princess thing and I was really afraid I’d hate her throughout the entire book but she turned out better than okay.

Archer, well he’s a hot cowboy what more can I say? I’m kidding. But he’s also sweet, incredibly loyal and one hell of a man.

What I loved most about Right Wrong guy was the fact that both characters took a chance. They wanted to right the wrongs they’ve made in their lives. I personally loved how the title played out in the story.

Seriously, I swooned so many times through out the book. Grandma Kane had my heart melting. Archer definitely had me melting to a puddle. And at the end of the morning (it’s three am as I type this) I can honestly say I have a huge smile on my face and my heart is pretty content with this book.

I do plan on continuing this series especially because book three sounds AMAZING. I personally thought it was about Kit but hopefully a book about him is in the works because I’d love to read it and Grandma Kane’s love story would be a perfect novella for this series. I’m just doing wishful thinking but really I’m really enjoying this series and look forward to whatever Lia Riley writes next.

Ever since I read Last First Kiss, I needed more Archer Kane in my life. When I read about him and later on Edie, I wanted those two to get together ASAP. I had no idea they had met quite that way so it was nice to have the author write that story, even before Last First Kiss happened. They had chemistry right from the start and I was so rooting for them!

Edie overheard her fiance talking shit behind her back to someone else. Apparently, he was only interested in the money. When she meets Archer, she’s captivated by him but brushes it off. Long story short, they end up on their way to Brightwater, where Edie is looking to stay and make it her new home. Reading about these two going back and forth was interesting and hot at the same time. You could cut the sexual tension with a knife! They obviously wanted each other but Edie was scared to take the plunge, which lead Archer a bit heartbroken. I mean, the only woman he has his eyes on and she rejects him. But he really wants Edie and he decides to give her all the time she needs to find herself and then make the decision. Edie has heard the rumors of Archer being the man-whore of the town and it bothers her at first but then, she decides to forget it. The past is the past and both are ready to start anew.

Archer grew a lot in this book. I found him to be a bit immature in the first book and not quite there. But in his own story, he grows out of it and tries to be more of a gentleman and even takes over a big responsibility given to him by Grandma Kane. Both her and Edie kept Archer on his toes for the better. He is so charmingly hot! His story as well as Edie’s were a great addition to this series.

This book was very flirty, with witty banter and a cute and hot romance. ( )

Great read

This book was a great read! Excellent writing and characters made this a fun story to read. Loved Archer and Edie and how well they worked together. Can't wait for the next in the series!

I was a little bit nervous to start Right Wrong Guy because I liked Last First Kiss, but I wasn’t overly impressed or anything. I figured it would probably be a quick read, so why not give it a shot. Plus I’ve been dying to read the third books since August. You don’t actually have to read them all or in order, but I’ve been a bit OCD lately with book orders.

The characters of Right Wrong Guy were not what I expected. I didn’t think I’d like Archer very much since he sleeps around, but I did. I really loved him, to be honest. Edie was a great match for him. I loved the fire that she had. She was pretty awesome and I’d want a best friend like her.

Archer and Edie had decent chemistry. I was so underwhelmed by the chemistry in Last First Kiss, I was shocked by Archer and Edie’s relationship (in a good way) in Right Wrong Guy. They had a few strange get together moments. One minute things are normal and then suddenly they’re all over each other and are suddenly fine with the idea of something happening. I found that confusing as a reader because it was pretty far from realistic. The only time my thoughts ping-pong like that is when I’m blogging.

The story of their relationship overall was interesting. I liked that Archer wanted to be a better guy for himself, not just so that he deserved Edie. I loved that Edie wanted to feel independent. That made their relationship more enjoyable for me because I can’t stand the dependent relationships that are unhealthy or borderline unhealthy in a lot of today’s books. The baking aspect was kind of a bonus for me because I love to bake. I don’t like the weight gain if I eat everything I bake, but it was fun to read about someone opening a bakery (I think I’d love to do that, if money weren’t an issue).

I didn’t really understand the addition of Edie’s ex-fiancee drama near the end. It seemed like overkill, but it wasn’t poorly written or anything. Speaking of drama, I’m still not a fan of Grandma Kane. I don’t know exactly why, but she hits my anger button. Every once in a while she’ll say something that make me smile or chuckle, but usually I’m frowning if she’s around. I think that might just be me though.

Overall, I enjoyed Right Wrong Guy. I definitely enjoyed it more than Last First Kiss. The characters were more interesting and well-rounded and the story itself appealed to me more. I can’t wait to read Best Worst Mistake next! I would recommend Right Wrong Guy, if you’re looking for a fun and flirty adult contemporary romance.
