I finished this book back in 2021, I was off goodreads for a while so haven't spent much time doing reviews.

However this one deserves a review!

B.B Reid has mastered the art of writing a true bully romance. Where neither of the main characters are willing to back down and admit anything other than pure hate. and throughout this book it is purely that, violent, aggressive, torment and stress.
throw in some hot sexual encounters where neither one wants to admit they are wanting each other and goading responses from each other and you have a brilliant little book that is addictive, fast paced and even has an actual plot!

B.B Reid did a great job balancing story to sex ratio and never feared going dark to really hit home with the readers that these two characters did hate each other in all the ways possible.

if you enjoyed Beautiful Disaster then this will rock your socks, because its the same gritty style but aimed towards adults.

I am now on the second (audio)book Fear You, and it so far has continued to be just as strong in its story as Fear Me, only this time. Kieran is struggling to keep control of Lake, and she isn't relenting to him. ( )

The plot of this book sounded good...until I started reading it. It just didn't make sense to me that a girl tortured by a guy for ten years would fall head over heels in love with him in the blink of an eye. She disregards the fact he abuses her at every turn, blackmails her into degrading acts, and basically threatens to kill her friends and family. Pretty much all the women in this book, Lake, Sheldon, and Willow, had no self-respect and continued to flock to the crazy Masters men who repeatedly abused, used, and broke them down both mentally and physically. ( )

This book completely surprised me, I really didn't expect to love it as much as I did. I was told it was a YA read, and they are normally not my kind of reads.

From page one I was hooked, what we have is a story of Keiran and Lake, the bully and the bullied. A story of a love that due to circumstances cannot happen, a forbidden type of love.

We have heartbreak, angst, tragedy love and oh some steamy sizzling scenes.
The way this book is written feels like it is written from the soul. I had to read right through to the end.

I absolutely recommend this read and I cannot wait for Book 2 ( )

I was a little worried (as always when trying a new author). The book was amazing. I read the other reviews and I thought it was going to be another dark romance, but it wasn't really dark.
I'm not going to get into the plot so that I don't ruin it. But trust me when I say that if I coul I would give it 10 stars!!!!!! ( )
