Buzz Aldrin does more outreach about colonizing Mars.

This book is exceptionally well written, with text and pictures that can appeal to a wide variety of age groups. I'm a mature adult and I enjoyed it; but my 4.5 year old nephew also enjoyed having it read to him. The text is split up into a narrative that describes a landing on Mars, simple projects to do to learn or think about Mars, and denser, more descriptive text. The illustrations are arranged interestingly; some are small and some span two pages. The illustrations of the future astronauts show young persons of both sexes and various ethnicities. ( )

This book is all about the red planet mars. It talks about facts of mars and the goal to one day have humans inhabit the planet. It has real astronauts talking, facts about spacecrafts, appropriate things to bring and what we can find on mars. It is a really cool international book that has lots of cool facts.
Use: To introduce mars as part of a science use, To use as an example in a writing lesson on living on mars.
