Jalaludin Rumi, founder of the Mevlevi Order (Dancing Deviches) is considered by many scholars to be the greatest of the mystical poets of humanity in both the East and the West. His works: "The Mathnawi" and "The Diwan of Shams of Tabriz", they attest. But Rumi was also a Sufi Master and his teaching system, in which he used thought and meditation, work and then action and inaction, are part of a method designed to lead the aspirant to feel akin to the mystical current and be transformed by it.
