I chose this book to add to part of my library because it was a good addition of an appropriate read for early childhood. It doesn't have tons of text on each page and not an overwhelming amount of language that is difficult. I loved that it included all types of fruits and can totally be discussion starters about "who has had this fruit?" or "who likes this fruit?" It isn't the MOST engaging and isn't overwhelmingly revolutionary, BUT I thought it was a good example of early childhood to have in my library. The illustrations are beautiful and could be read individually if someone has questions about a specific fruit. Nothing life changing BUT a good option. ( )

This book was very informative and descriptive, which might help children want to try new fruits that they have not had in the past. This book will also teach children the different colors of fruits, what they look like, the different parts that they have, and many descriptions of each fruit. Using this book in class would be very educational and can have many art projects or interactive listening to stem from the reading. ( )
